DEEP GREEN PROGRAM ROUND 4
Start here after your service. These are the standard instructions for this treatment round.
DO THIS FIRST
Stay off the treated lawn until it is completely dry, with a two-hour minimum.
Do not water on the day of treatment. Water the lawn thoroughly the following morning with a 25- to 30-minute cycle.
If weeds are present, wait 48 hours to mow. If no weeds are present, you can resume normal landscaping after the fertilizer is watered in.
As temperatures rise, check the lawn regularly and adjust irrigation before it shows prolonged drought stress.
If your service completion email identifies a property-specific adjustment, follow that exception for this visit.
SEASONAL ADJUSTMENTS
As summer conditions arrive, watering becomes vital to the health of your lawn. You will need to increase the total minutes per zone that you are watering to keep up with the heat and typical lack of rain this time of year. If you are unsure about any of these recommendations, please contact our office and we'll be happy to provide additional guidance.
RECOMMENDED SPRINKLER SETTINGS
As the weather becomes drier, plan to provide 1 inch of water per week from rainfall and irrigation combined. Use the schedule below as a starting point and count any rainfall toward the weekly total. Monitor soil moisture and adjust watering as temperatures rise. Follow this round's treatment watering instructions first.
Example based on a measured output of 0.6 inch per hour, before subtracting rainfall
Large sprinkler systems: If your sprinkler system has a large number of zones, you may not be able to follow the suggested schedule exactly. Spread the watering passes across multiple consecutive days as needed, keeping the same total watering time per zone and following local watering rules.
Follow the treatment watering instructions above first. Adjust runtime for your measured sprinkler output and rainfall, and follow local watering rules.
01
A premium slow-release fertilizer with iron and micronutrients designed to improve lawn color, strengthen turf density, and support healthy growth.
02
Slow-release nutrition feeds the lawn steadily, while iron supports a deeper green appearance without relying on excessive top growth.
03
The lawn should develop improved color gradually after the treatment is watered in. Results depend on adequate moisture, active growth, and current lawn conditions.
04
Bermuda and Zoysia are entering stronger growth as temperatures rise. St. Augustine receives products and rates selected for its specific growth habit and tolerances.
WHEN TO CONTACT GREEN GRASS
