DEEP GREEN PROGRAM ROUND 3

Slow-Release Fertilizer with Iron & Micronutrients

Start here after your service. These are the standard instructions for this treatment round.

ROUND3OF 9

People & pets

Stay off the treated lawn until it is completely dry, with a two-hour minimum.

Watering

Do not water on the day of treatment. Water the lawn thoroughly the following morning with a 25- to 30-minute cycle.

Mowing

If weeds are present, wait 48 hours to mow. If no weeds are present, you can resume normal landscaping after the fertilizer is watered in.

Give the treatment time

Do not pull or disturb treated weeds immediately. Allow time for the weed control to move through the plant.

If your service completion email identifies a property-specific adjustment, follow that exception for this visit.

SEASONAL ADJUSTMENTS

Spring green-up does not happen at the same pace everywhere.

Soil temperature, shade, recent weather, and grass type can affect how quickly your lawn responds. This time of year, you typically will not need to water as much because we usually receive some rain. Continue monitoring the weather and adjust your sprinkler schedule when necessary. If you are unsure about any of these recommendations, please contact our office and we'll be happy to provide additional guidance.

RECOMMENDED SPRINKLER SETTINGS

Use this schedule only when rainfall is not supplying the water.

Rainfall + irrigation

1 inch per week from rain and irrigation combined

Spring rainfall may supply the water your lawn needs. Follow the full 1-inch-per-week schedule below only when there is no rainfall. If you receive some rain, water only enough to make up the difference to 1 inch for the week. If rainfall supplies the full inch, skip routine irrigation. Follow this round's treatment watering instructions first.

Common Hunter & Rain Bird rotors

Use this full schedule only with no rainfall, based on a measured output of 0.6 inch per hour

WEEKLY TOTAL5 × 20-minute passes100 minutes per zone · About 1 inch
ACROSS TWO WATERING DAYSDay 1: 3 passes · Day 2: 2 passesSeparate watering days by two or three days. Run each zone for 20 minutes per pass through the complete system.

Large sprinkler systems: If your sprinkler system has a large number of zones, you may not be able to follow the suggested schedule exactly. Spread the watering passes across multiple consecutive days as needed, keeping the same total watering time per zone and following local watering rules.

Follow the treatment watering instructions above first. Adjust runtime for your measured sprinkler output and rainfall, and follow local watering rules.

01

What We Applied

A premium slow-release fertilizer with iron and micronutrients, plus targeted spot treatment of active weeds when conditions allow.

02

Why It Matters

Slow-release nutrition feeds the lawn steadily, while iron and micronutrients support early-season color, turf health, and density without forcing excessive growth.

03

What You May Notice

Color and growth improve gradually after the fertilizer is watered in. Treated weeds may twist, discolor, or stop growing before they decline.

04

Grass-Specific Notes

Bermuda and Zoysia may green up at different rates depending on temperature and shade. St. Augustine receives products and rates selected for its particular tolerances.

WHEN TO CONTACT GREEN GRASS
