DEEP GREEN PROGRAM ROUND 9
Start here after your service. These are the standard instructions for this treatment round.
DO THIS FIRST
Stay off the treated lawn until it is completely dry, with a two-hour minimum.
Do not water on the day of treatment. Water the lawn thoroughly the following morning with a 25- to 30-minute cycle.
You can resume normal landscaping after the fertilizer is watered in.
As the lawn moves toward dormancy, growth and color will naturally slow even though the winterizer is supporting the turf below the surface.
If your service completion email identifies a property-specific adjustment, follow that exception for this visit.
SEASONAL ADJUSTMENTS
Cooler temperatures and seasonal rainfall usually reduce the lawn's regular water needs. Continue monitoring the weather, but be sure to water the fertilizer in the following morning. If you are unsure about any of these recommendations, please contact our office and we'll be happy to provide additional guidance.
LAWN CARE RECOMMENDATIONS
As temperatures drop, your lawn needs less water as it heads toward dormancy for the winter. After watering in this treatment as directed above, irrigate only as needed based on rainfall and soil moisture. Reduce watering as the weather cools rather than following a fixed schedule.
01
A high-potassium winterizer fertilizer selected to support the lawn as it moves into cooler weather and dormancy.
02
Potassium supports root health, stress tolerance, and the lawn's ability to handle changing winter conditions while preparing for spring green-up.
03
This treatment is not intended to force rapid top growth. The lawn may continue losing color as temperatures fall while the fertilizer supports plant health below the surface.
04
Bermuda and Zoysia typically lose color and enter dormancy earlier. St. Augustine may remain green longer but will also slow as temperatures decrease.
